Danaé is a homeless awareness, financial literacy, and anti-classism advocate. In early 2018, Danaé experienced a job loss due to company downsizing. After months of countless job applications and searches, she failed to secure employment. She lost her home and became homeless. During her time in the shelter system, she noticed there were no true resources to escape this situation. The programs available catered to the stereotypes associated with homelessness. In addition, there was, and still remains, an immense collection of “bandaid” solutions to a deep and spreading problem in New York City. Regardless of one’s education status, no one is exempt from homelessness. After Danaé broke free from the bondage of homelessness, she vowed to create businesses dedicated to helping singles and families escape the traps of low income and poverty.
